On the Way to Hamada

I took all these photos from the train window on the way to Hamada from Shin Yamaguchi.  I'm really enjoying this trip.  This is the way I feel: Japan is still Japan.  I love slow pace, spaciousness everywhere, and only a few restaurants available.  It's a bit like San Dimas.

Autumn is just begun.

Can you see many red apples on the trees behind the white post?

After leaving Masuda, I stood up often to see gorgeous views of Japan Sea.

It was almost Hamada when I saw these wild chrysanthemums on the side of a sharp slope.
